BRG LED Worldview Time Zone Clock — Two Technologies, One Stunning Display

BRG LED Worldview Time Zone Clock with world map center display

For decades, BRG has built some of the most accurate and reliable LED time zone clocks in the world. And for almost as long, the question has come up: “Can we add a world map to this?”

The answer is the BRG LED Worldview Time Zone Clock — a display that combines BRG’s time-tested LED time zone technology with a 32″ or 43″ HD multimedia center monitor running a rich suite of software applications. The result is a single, unified wall display that shows precise world time, a live interactive world map, NASA space and Earth imagery, news tickers, scheduled videos, and more — all in one stunning, professionally framed package.

Technology 1: Time-Tested LED Time Zones

On each side of the center monitor, the LED Worldview features 4, 6, or 8 time zones in BRG’s proven bar-segment LED format — the same technology found in every BRG time zone clock. Every zone is driven by BRG’s OCXO oscillator, factory synchronized to the U.S. Atomic Clock, accurate to ±1 second over 20 years. No GPS, no network connection, no manual adjustments — ever.

Zone labels are available in white vinyl (fixed zone) or digital dot matrix LED (programmable zone), with user-changeable multi-color LEDs in 7 colors for both time digits and labels. Page flipping is supported on programmable models, allowing up to 24 zones to rotate through a limited number of physical zone positions.

Any zone can also be configured to display the Julian date, sunrise time, sunset time, temperature, or other special information — making the LED Worldview one of the most information-dense time zone displays available.

Technology 2: The HD Multimedia Center Display

Live zoomable world map • Day/night shading • Pin locations • Zoom to hot spots • News ticker • Play videos & images • Built-in media scheduler • NASA Earth & Space videos included

Live Zoomable World Map
The center monitor displays a live world map by default, complete with sun shading showing day and night across the globe in real time. The map supports pan and zoom — zoom in to critical regions, countries, or cities. Zoom position is maintained through power cycles, so your display always comes back to the right view.

Pin Locations on the World Map
Points of interest labels and custom location pins are fully configurable, letting you mark your offices, facilities, partners, or operational locations anywhere on the globe. Custom graphics can also be overlaid on the map.

Zoom In on Hot Spots Around the Globe
When you need to focus attention on a specific region — whether for an operational briefing, a client presentation, or ongoing situational awareness — the zoom feature lets you move in close. Google Earth integration (Wi-Fi models) adds aerial and satellite-level imagery for any location in the world, schedulable to display at specific times or intervals.

News Ticker
Up to four message tickers can scroll across the display simultaneously, showing live news and information network feeds, local text files, or network text files. Keep your team informed with real-time information alongside world time.

Play Videos and Scroll Through Images
The built-in HD media player supports MP4, MKV, AVI, TS/TP, MOV, VOB, and M2TS video formats, plus JPEG and GIF images. Hundreds of NASA Earth and Space videos are included — imagery from the International Space Station, the Hubble telescope, and the James Webb telescope. Custom corporate or organizational videos can be added at any time via USB.

Schedule Photos and Videos with the Built-In Scheduler
The internal media scheduler lets you program exactly when content plays — specific times, days of the week, or recurring intervals. Switch between a live world map, a corporate video, a Google Earth view, and a news feed automatically throughout the day. Up to six videos can play simultaneously with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) on the moving map.

SCIF-Ready, No Network Required
All LED Worldview models are available without Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for use in secure locations. No network connection is required for any core functionality — the time zones, world map, and media player all run without a network. Wi-Fi models add Google Earth and live news feed capability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the LED Worldview require a network connection?

No. All core functionality — time zones, world map, and media player — operates without any network connection. Wi-Fi models add Google Earth and live news feed capability. Non-Wi-Fi models are available for SCIF and secure locations.

Q: Can I add my own videos and images?

Yes. Custom videos and images can be added at any time via the USB socket on the left side of the display. Photos can be displayed after converting to video format. The media player supports MP4, MKV, AVI, TS/TP, MOV, VOB, M2TS, JPEG, and GIF.

Q: How accurate are the LED time zones?

Every LED Worldview time zone is driven by BRG’s OCXO oscillator, factory synchronized to the U.S. Atomic Clock, and accurate to ±1 second over 20 years. No GPS or network connection is needed for time accuracy.

Q: Can the zoom position on the world map be saved?

Yes. The zoom position is maintained through power cycles, so your display always returns to your preferred view after a power interruption.

Q: Is the LED Worldview available on GSA contract?

Yes. All LED Worldview models (MTZA through MTZJ) are available through GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract # 47QSMS26D002K, SIN 339950. BRG sells exclusively direct with no authorized third-party resellers.
