Time Zone Parameters

The Tiger series of time displays is able to accurately show the time anywhere in the world. Twenty four time zone offsets are available (+/-12 hours UTC). Five incremental offsets can be accommodated to show accurate time in countries like India, Afghanistan, parts of Canada and Australia (30 minute offset) or Nepal (45 minute offset). Fourteen daylight savings time parameters can be programmed with the ability to create new rule based values based on ever changing political laws.

Time Inputs

The TGS series can interface with a GPS Atomic Time receiver for legally traceable time of within 4ms. If running a GPS antenna cable is not practical, a CDMA receiver is also available that is accurate to within a fraction of a second. For military or television industry customers an IRIG-B and SMPTE receiver is also available. Sync indication can be provided by several different display formats such as decimal dot, blinking colon, loss of blinking colon, and others. The TGS series are also make excellent submasters in synchronized clock systems with the master controlling alarm functions.

Alarm Scheduling

TGS series clocks include some of the most powerful alarm scheduling features found in the industry today. Ninety alarms can be stored, to accommodate even the most complex work schedules. Day of week variables allow for flexibility such as Monday and Tuesdays only, Weekends only, Daily, or many more. Up to ten schedules can be setup for activation by date range. An optional four channel output relay is available for zone control. Various sound devices are available such as bells, alert horns, piezo buzzers, and electronic sounders. For existing alarm devices, a single channel output is available provided the existing device has a power supply.

Display Formats

Up to 33 time and date formats are available to show what you need to see on the display. Formats include Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Tenths of Seconds, Hundredths of Seconds, Blinking Colons, Year, Month / Day (American or European), Julian Dates (3 versions), Blank, Decimal Minutes, Temperature (Requires optional temperature sensor), Leading Zero's, and of course 12 or 24 hour format.
