(HX) Ultra-High Precision Oscillator Option

(HX) Ultra-High Precision Oscillator; Many clocks on the market are only accurate to about 10 minutes per year, with some being much worse. A BRG clock with the HX option is accurate up to 1 second per year. The BRG Ultra-High Precision Clock option replaces the standard quartz crystal with a temperature compensated oscillator (TCXO) and companion accuracy enhancement firmware. The clock even compensates for crystal aging over long periods of operation.


Features of a BRG Clock with the HX Option:

 1. Accurate up to 1 second per year.

2. Automatic switching between Daylight Saving and Standard time

3. Power outages have no effect on time keeping (10 year internal battery backup)

4. Clocks are synchronized with the U.S. Atomic Clock before shipping.

5. No master clock required

6. No sync wire required

7. Typical time between corrections for an hour:minute display is 5 to 8 years, or longer.

8. Any BRG clock may be equipped with the ultra-high precision oscillator option.

9. Recommended temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Centigrade.

10. Crystal aging compensation firmware for greater accuracy over long periods of operation
