(CR2) CDMA Atomic Time Receiver:
This CDMA atomic time receiver is completely self contained with a small stub antenna located on top.
The clock will maintain the time to within a fraction of a second when compared to the U.S. time standard.
The CDMA cell tower time receiver can be used anywhere a cell phone can be used, even under marginal signal conditions. This specialized time receiver eliminates the cost and inconvenience of running cable, as required for GPS or PC synchronization. Like GPS,the CDMA receiver will automatically select one of several transmitters, making the system redundant and extremely reliable. There are no monthly fees or other ongoing charges associated with CDMA time reception. Time and date transmissions are received from available CDMA cell towers, maintaining clock accuracy to within a fraction of second when compared to the U.S. time standard. An indicator light on the display illuminates when time updates have been received. Because the receiver is self-contained, the time display may be moved to another room or building without rewiring. When ordering this option, simply add the letters CR2 to the clock model number, i.e. BRG440-CR2. If you need to send the atomic time to other clocks, include the ST option to add a wire sync transmitter, or the PL option to use Power Line sync. |
